Joyce King is a passionate self-taught Nigerian artist who currently resides in Canada. Born in the bustling city of Lagos, Nigeria, Joyce's affinity for art and creativity became apparent during her early childhood. She would spend countless hours painting and drawing alongside her father, who played a significant role in nurturing her artistic inclinations.

Despite graduating from the University of Alberta with a double major in political science and sociology, Joyce's deep-rooted passion for art remained steadfast. She found herself yearning to further explore and develop her artistic abilities. Driven by an insatiable desire to create, she embarked on a journey of self-teaching, refining her techniques and expanding her artistic horizons.

Joyce's artistic style is characterized by an exceptional use of vibrant colors, which she employs to express herself and captivate her audience. Her choice of colors breathes life into her artworks, imbuing them with energy and vitality. By employing a rich and diverse color palette, she elicits powerful emotions and creates a visually engaging experience for viewers.
